Frequently Asked Questions
What should my child wear for class?
In keeping with the traditions of Classical Ballet our dancers are required to wear black leotards, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, and black tap shoes (black skirts are optional). No particular style of leotard is required. We have child sized leotards, tights, ballet shoes, and tap shoes available for purchase in our Dance Wear Nook in the main office. NO PANTIES WILL BE ALLOWED, AS THE TIGHTS SERVE AS THEIR UNDERGARMENT.
Hair should be neatly secured in a ballet bun. Short hair must be secured with clips to keep the hair off the face.
How long is your dance season?
Our classes typically run from the beginning of August until June! Summer camps begin in July.
Are your teachers qualified?
At Terpsichore our instructors and staff members are experienced and highly qualified. Each of our staff members takes pride in their work and has a passion and commitment to what they do and teach. For further information see our Staff Page!
Can we still join your classes after the term has started?
Yes! We accept students at any time during our dance season. If students enroll after the beginning of the month, tuition will be pro-rated accordingly.
